Well I have an HP Deskjet 895Cse Printer hooked up to my Dell running Windows Millenium desktop. It is connected to the network by 802.11b.

How do I share that printer with my Powerbook using wireless networking? shared printers is on on the Windows Millenium Box and the printer itself is named HP.

What do I do to the Mac? I went to Print and fax in system prefs and it can't/won't locate the printer. selected windows printing from the pulldown menu and it searches for drivers and finds nothing.

I run a D-link DI614+ Rev. A wireless router.

What do I do? If you need more information just post what you need to know to help me solve this Thanks!

Well I got it all figured out except one major thing.
Found the network, named the printer HP->GEORGESUN and
i opened up Word 2004:Mac and typed one thing at the top:
MRFORGETABLESTYLE
and Apple+P to print

it didn't automatically turn on the printer so I went and turned it on. it began printing, but not MRFORGETABLESTYLE, but this weird stuff the top
Pics of what was printed: (this is just 1 piece of paper, just zoomed in to show what it says)

what does this mean?

the letters read:
%!PS-Adobe-3.0
%RBINumCopies: 1
%%Pages: (atend)
%APL_DSC_Encoding: UTF8
%%Title: (M

and it's cut off from there.

i don't get pages and pages of printed material, i only get 1 page of words and letters. then it starts dishing out blank pieces of paper. i had to shut down to stop it.

do I need to install drivers on the Mac?

does networking printers only work with USB connected printers (not serial)?
