Exclude certain HOST wireless MAC addresses?

	I'm at a hotel and it has a wireless network. The thing is, that sometimes it works, and sometimes my computer has a self-assigned IP. I studied it a bit, and noticed that certain MAC addresses for the router worked, and others didn't. I think the network has multiple base stations, and my computer is choosing one at random, but often a bad one. Is there any way to get my computer to block certain MAC addresses?
