I want to set up a network with my g3 ibook and emac. Unfortunately the ibook will not take an airport extreme card and I will have to find an alternative. The original airport cards are easy to find, but are now selling at prices well over their original cost. So I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a third-party card that would do the trick for a lower price. Any help would be appreciated.

Your only other option would be a USB wireless adapter.

The iBooks don't have a pc-card slot.

Find what? An airport card? LA Computer Company has them.
