Okay I've seen a whole ton of topics here about net sharing so I know it's quite possible. I'm going to be going back to college in a few days and I'd like to setup my printer and internet on my PC desktop that will always remain in my room. I'd also like to be able to hook into the internet whenever I want with my powerbook through the PC. Would it be faster/easier to do this by buying a second NIC for my PC and running some cat cable, or would firewire 400 surfice (PC already has plenty of firewire ports. I don't need anything really fast, just something fast enough that I wont notice the difference. If things get to be too much of a PITA I might just connect directly with the PB and take the PC home. However, I'd really like to get this working, as my PB doesn't seem to see any of my wireless network (though all our PC's are on it).
