I have a tibook and a cube running 10.3.5 and DSL with a Westcon 2200 modem. I would like to be able to stay logged onto my airport network for file transfers and Remote Desktop admin as well as connect to the internet via built-in-ethernet. I assume I will need a wired router that has my DSL modem going into it and distributes the signal to the Airport Base Station (graphite) and to the tibook which is normally connected via cat5 (the ABS dies if it's downloading anything substantial so it's relegated to strictly light file transfers among the two macs and light wireless surfing). Is there a particular model Linksys router I can use or are they all pretty much the same?

Why not just replace the airport base station?
You could get a linksys router that has an integrated 4 port switch as well as wireless for around $80. The model I have is the WRT54G.

What you are trying to do is possible, but I couldn't tell you how on OSX.
