From the porch of my girlfriend's college house I am able to pick up the neighbor's Netgear wifi router. Inside the house the signal doesn't make it. I wish to know if it is possible to bridge the connection from their netgear to my gf's D-Link DI-614+. I updated the firmware to the latest on her D-Link but don't see anything about bridging. I got into the admin section of the Netgear and don't see if there either. If this realistic even?

Thanks!

bridging won't do you any good if you can't pick up a signal from inside the house (unless you want to place the bridge (another access point) on the porch.

but yes, it is possible.
You heard me! Sod off, Sadr!

Which is exactly what I intend to do. We get a weak signal from inside the house's living room. Plus the AP she has has an external antenna, better than my Pismo's internal airport.
