Just recieved my 15 inch Powerbook, and everything was setup. But registration didn't go through so I decided it was the same thing that happened to my sister's iBook, it didn't go through the first time. So.. i go to the other room and I decide to try out Safari. I can't connect to the internet! Airport is at one less than full strength, which should be enough to get a signal. What's wrong? router is a DI-614.

seems like it can't get an IP address from the router.

Can you log into the router itself using a patch cord?

i think i found the problem. I can't release the DHCP on any of the networked computers to get the IP for the Powerbook. How would I go about doing this?

Sometimes routers are stupid and don't pick up a new machine that is connected to them and they need to be slapped (reset/unplugged).
i look in your general direction
