Best buy is having a rebate deal with the above router/switch for $40. I'm concerned about its compatibility with os x using standard airport 802.11b cards. Is anybody out there using this unit with positive results? It looks like a great deal.
Thanks

Should work fine. Just go into the DLink setup program and change the setting for Short Preamble to Long Preamble.

I really don't know exactly what it does. You could google it to find out. It seems to be peculiar to DLinks and the default setting of "short preamble" causes grief for Airport cards.

My roommate and I are using this router and it works great with the airport card. I'm having trouble with their USB adaptor for my iMac, but the router is great.

Thanks for the input. I'll be sure to look into the preamble issue and see what's up there. Hopefully this router will have better range than my original graphite ABS with my tibook. though i think it's my tibooks fault really
