I just bought a pair of DLINK Access Points, because I figured I could use one as a bridge. I can't :-(. Does anyone make a cheap Wireless Ethernet Bridge? Or rather, anyone sell a cheap one? I don't care if its refurb'd as long as it works with any brand of wireless.

Both D-Link and LinkSys make wireless to ethernet bridges:

LinkSys WET11 - $55

DLink DW810 $60

I believe Belkin makes something similar.

The above are 802.11b devices. D-Link and Belkin also make similar 54g devices which are substantially more expensive. You could also try eBay.

If your router is a D-Link, you might want to get the D-Link adapter for compatibility rather than the more popular WET11.

No i got two dlinks but they both suck and are going back. My network now is a linksys. And after seeing DLINK's web config first hand, i definitely don't want one of my own. I'm also 6 for 6, for DOA Linksys routers too. If this was my house I'd happily just run a cable and solve this whole problem.
