Can the older 802.11b Airport cards use WPA as the encryption method on an 802.11g network?


I read somewhere that Apple, on a previous update, updated the 802.11b Airport Cards to be able to use WPA?

I used WPA Personal quite happily on a mixed Airport network.

I did have Airport Express and I used a G4 iMac (Airport, 802.11b) and a PowerBook (Airport Extreme, 802.11g) with no problems at all.
