I have an AirPort Extreme base station with a modem inside, and 2 iBook G4s. I've had them all for almost a year. Now, I've been using this base station flawlessly for the past year to have the two iBooks connected to the internet at the same time (dial-up). Now, all of a sudden, whenever I dial up through the AirPort, it eventually connects, after many tries, but when I try to go anywhere in Safari, nil. This is on both iBooks. It is not a problem with the ISP or the phone line, because when I hook up the phone line directly to the iBook, it dials up and works perfectly. So what has happened all of a sudden? I'm not a happy camper. I paid $250 for this base station, so that we could be wireless in the house, and it isn't working. Oh, I should also mention that when printing wirelessly, that works fine. So maybe the modem is fried? I don't know. It may be in it's one year warranty, but it's definately near the end if it's still in it. Help?
