I hate to ask questions on here because I can usually figure stuff out on my own, but this one has me totally stumped. I just got a wireless router (Airlink something-or-other). As soon as I plugged it in, my iBook connected easily. However, my desktop PC (which is hardwired) refuses to connect to the internet (using XP). Also, my roomates laptop recognizes and CONNECTS to the wireless network, yet he cannot get online. I don't know what's going on.
If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated. Also, let me know if there's any important info I left out.
Thanks,
Anthony

Make sure that the PCs have the latest version of the wireless drivers. Apple is using the latest wireless encryption standard, so all computers connecting to it have to know about it. I believe that this is in Windows Update.

Did you make any changes to the router setup? You may want to try resetting it to factory defaults. There is usually a button on these things to either reset or hard-reset. If you hold it in for a bit, you generally get factory defaults back.
After resetting it, turn off all security (password, MAC address filtering etc.). Now try connecting them all. What IP address does your iBook get?

The iBook has an IP address of 192.168.1.100
The thing that really has me clueless is that my desktop PC (connected to the router via ethernet cable) can't get online.
I will try resetting the router to see if that helps.
Thanks for the advice so far guys.
