I have placed my Airport Express behind some furniture. The signal reception is OK, but could be better -according to the Signal reception-meter.

-Will this affect my download speed to be slower?

Also, can my download speed be as high when using the wireless network as when I plug my ADSL connection directly into my powerbook?

I am using an Airport Extreme card with the AE.
