I just bought a used Netgear MR814 wireless router (see my other post below) and am having trouble connecting to it. The instructions say to plug it in, turn your computer on (set ethernet to DHCP) and access the router via a web browser.
Well, I did all of this and the proper lights lit up on the front of the router, but I cannot connect to the router using my web browser -- it just "sits and spins". The previous owner said he only used this once, and also changed the access IP address from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.2.99. I have tried both of these without success. I also pressed the reset button on the back of the router. I hooked the router up to my PC and got the same results.
Am I doing something wrong?
