I have just bought a new 2.5DP.
I'm having real problems maintaining a connection to the internet.
There are quite a few mentions of this on the Aple support boards, suggesting it's a hardware problem with the 2.5DPs.
My feeling is that it's actually an incompatibility between the new Mac and my router, in my case, as if I remove the router I have no problems and if the connection is lost, rebooting the router normally sorts it out.
The odd thing is that I can still connect to any other box on the internal network even when I can't reach the internet. Also iChat and p2p stuff seems unaffected...
Question: If I replace the router, a Netgear RP114, what should I get?
What are you guys using successfully with a 2.5DP?
I need only about 4 ports and ideally VPN capable. Must be able to port forward/DMZ etc. Standard stuff.
What do you suggest?
