I use my 12" PB (10.3.8) and my Brother 1440 printer through my Airport network.

Some time in the past few days, the Airport decided to quit being helpful in allowing wireless printing. Aw hell - it just quit printing altogether.

The Airport still works for internet, but when I go to my Rendzevouz setting in Print Center, nothing shows up.

I've used Print Service Repair, reloaded my Brother drivers - fine. I've hooked the printer into my USB port - fine. But when I try to print through the Airport - NOT fine. Nothing.

Any ideas? Thoughts?

Thank you in advance.

Meaning the printer is connected to the USB port on the Airport base station? Or the printer is connected to a computer and you're trying to share that printer with other computers on the network?

I have a Brother 1435 which basically does the same thing. Sometimes it shows up in Rendezvous at other times it doesn't. What does seem to work consistently well is connecting the printer to my desktop, then sharing the printer. As long as I am logged in on the desktop, the printer has consistently shown up and functioned well through the wireless connection.

My Epson 740, hooked up to my APX, shows up on the list of printers, but when I try to print to it, the print job just stops. No warning of any kind, just stops without printing anything.

I've been sick this whole week, and today I left work early because of it. What did I do instead of getting some much needed rest? That's right, I decided to give it my all to get this printer to work. In the end, what I had to do was reinstall the Epson drivers from the Panther CDs (the third disk, Epson Drivers 2). Anyway, I'm just glad it's working now
