I looked around but I couldnt find an answer.
Every few weeks my Airport just decides not to send a signal to my laptop. It just happens at random times. I lose all internet connection on my computer. I look at the Express and the light is green. Not flashing. Most of the time if I unplug it and plug it back in and wait for it to boot I get connection back but sometimes the only way for me to get it to work again is to start from scratch. This is really starting to annoy me. Has anyone had this problem before? Anyway to fix it?
Thanks.

What sort of indication do you have on your computer when you lose your connection? If the light on the AX is still on, maybe what's happening is that your ISP is dropping you-not in a way that the AX can detect it-and rebooting the AX gets it to log back into the ISP.
This could easily be your problem if you have DSL; the ISPs sometimes "oops" and drop part of the connection for a short time, but it's long enough to lose it in terms of data transmission. Unfortunately I don't know enough about the AX to know if there's a configuration option that forces it to reconnect if it loses the connection, or one that allows you to manually reconnect.
The next time this happens, try to get the AX to connect to your provider without unplugging it. If it works, then my theory is probably right, and your ISP has hiccoughed.

It cant be my ISP cause I check my cable modem and everything is ok. When it happens I lose the network I made on the AX in the Airport drop down in the Menu Bar. It disappears from the list so I assume its the AX. Everything else is working.

I experience this problem with my Barricade wireless router. The device would stop routing traffic to the internet. Turns out that my ISP was renewing my DHCP address at midnight which would cause the router to need a reset. Go figure...

This is one of the ways that ISPs can interrupt your connection without a modem showing anything is happening. However, since drainyoo's AX network itself is dropping, it is obviously not his problem.
Drainyoo, how good is the power where you are? I mean, do you have your lights flicker from time to time? You may want to consider connecting your AX to an UPS, even if you don't notice flickering. I don't have one, but the Express may have issues when the input power has fluctuations, and an UPS would smooth this out quite well.
Yes, it's a stab in the dark, but it's all I have right now. Sorry.
