I just recently got my Linksys WRT54G wireless router all set up and running, but I'm noticing that the wireless light blinks all day and night even when my computer is shut down or sleeping. Is someone stealing my internet?

This is perfectly normal. It means that the router's wireless system is operating and that there is network traffic. No sweat. My WAP11 access point did that all the time. I moved up to a WAP54G, and it flashes whenever there's network traffic too.

The network activity you are seeing is probbally ARP requests from others on your segment.
