Need help with Aiport Express and iTunes streaming

	My friend has a linksys 802.11b router and just bought an airport Express so they could hook it to their stereo. The Express works when they are streaming wireless from their PC laptop but when connected via ethernet it doesn't stream through the Airport Express. Can it only stream wirelessly? Is there a way to hook it up via ethernet and have it strem to his stereo? Right now the Airport Express is only connected wirelessly "joined" the network.
