I've recently had problems with my graphite Airport Base Station. I managed to reset it all and got it working again. However, I connect to the internet via a 4-port DSL modem/router, I have an iMac connected directly to the router and the base station is also connected to the router for my iBook. Both Macs can connect to the internet no problem, but for some reason they can no longer connect to each other!

I think I may have messed something up when I reset the BS but I don't what! The iMac now has and IP of 10.0.0.* but the iBook has an IP of 10.0.1.* which is what they both used to have...

I'm a bit frustrated with this now so any help, suggestions greatly appreciated!! Thanx!

Your modem is connected to your four port router, your iMac is connected to your four port router, your ABS is connected to your four port router, and your iBook is connected wirelessly to your ABS. As you appear to recognize the problem is that your iMac and iBook are now on different subnets. In other words, the third series of IP digits needs to match one another, such as 10.0.0.1 and 10.0.0.2. You need to configure either the router or the ABS so that their LAN IPs have matching subnets.
