I have an ibook g4 and a linksys 54g something or another. This happens via Airport Extreme. I have not tested it yet wired. When I type url it hangs and the progress bar read looking up www.url.com. Minutes pass until finally it brings the site up. I have done this with multiple browser and multiple sites. 10.3.8...all up-to-date. Anyone else having this problem?

If this happens in multiple browsers, we can be sure it's not a browser level issue. Does it happens in all of your users? You may want to try turning off Network Ports that are not in use by going to the Network pane of System Preferences and choosing Network Port Configurations from the menu therein.

Check your primary DNS server. If it isn't working, then this is a pretty normal response.

ACSA 10.4/10.3, ACTC 10.3, ACHDS 10.3

Do I the DNS Servers in the router or under my network panel? I have time warnerx cable...road runner.
