Did you enter IP addresses for the DNS (Domain Name Server) in the router and the Mac ? Theoretically, if its in the router, you don't need it on the Mac, but I always enter the DNS in both, because I had trouble with it before.
Try the following Cox DNS, but any other of your ISP will do.
68.10.16.25
68.10.16.30
