I just moved into a new apartment and the landlord provides free wireless via his Linksys WRT54GP2. My internet works fine, but my AirTunes is sketchy.
The network is open (no WEP) and I can access the router admin page (no password). I've changed the channel so far - to put the router on 11 and my AEx on 1 (to cut down on interference). No noticible difference.
I have tried just my AEx with my iBook (no internet) and it works fine. The problem lies with the AEx/Linksys connection. I've googled to find an AirTunes hack for another Linksys 54G router, but it's a firmware download/hack and I don't want to void the landlord's warranty and wreck his router.
Any ideas on what I can change in the router/AEx settings to help out?
