Well...its not like pausing but it freezes up for a few seconds and then starts right back wher eit was.
Any ideas as to what could be causing this?
It is on a linksys router.

I think that "freezes" is a pretty vague term. Can you describe what you're doing when you notice this (downloading, surfing, etc.), how you can tell it's happening, and some specifics of your computer (model, OS, any other software running)?
A lot of people tend to forget that the information has to be available for the wireless network to get it to their computer for viewing. I've seen a lot of posts where "my AirPort drops connections" or "my router disconnects for no reason" when the real problem is that the user's ISP bobbles the connection, or the Internet is simply slow at that moment.
This sort of thing is very noticable when you're listening to Internet radio or downloading a large file. If you watch your broadband modem, you may notice (for example) that when the download seems to freeze, the modem shows no activity. That's because the ISP isn't sending data at that moment for whatever reason. If that's what's happening for you, it's NOT your equipment.

Its on my powerbook with Panther.
It happens whether I am surfing or just have my laptop streaming music.
Its not so much the Internet connection drops but the streaming audio will just pause.
I checked the sticky for this and noticed that a few others have had close to the same issue but I could find a resolution.

This clarifies your situation significantly. And yes, it's not something that seems to have a "standard" resolution yet.
What other computers do you have, and what OS are they running? In other words, do you have another computer that's not experiencing this problem?

I have the same problem. Music will stream fine for a few minutes, then start to stutter, then many times my wireless network will go down altogether forcing me to reset my base station (Netgear). I've read all the posts and none of the fixes have worked for me.
In many, many years as an Apple customer AirPort Express is the first product I haven't been happy with.
