Trying to enable MAC filtering on my linksys wifi router. I'm not sure where to find the MAC address of my Panther G4 iBook.

Thanks very much in advance,

look at:
System profiler/network

I know with my netgear router the easiest way is to look at connected devices (when you're connected) thru the web gui, then copy and paste.

You can also find the information in the Network control panel under System Preferences.

Sometimes it's even printed somewhere on the computer itself. My Mac mini's hardware address is printed on the bottom of the case.

"That's Mama Luigi to you, Mario!" *wheeze*

Thanks very much guys! I'll check all of those out. I know on my ThinkPad at work it's printed on a tiny label on the bottom of the machine. And of course in windoze I can type ipconfig.

have a great week,

Chris

It's also on the outside of the box your Mac shipped in.
