hello all
this has been happening with my new 15" 1.67ghz powerbook
i would be using my wired internet connection and everyting seems to be fine, then once i plug in the internet into the airport express and connect wirelessly, i only get a minute of fast internet and then the internet becomes very very slow, to the point that it gives me a timeout in the browser. but if i keep on pressing refresh for 4-5 times after eachother, it seems to get the page quickly, then it stalls again. any ideas why this is happening. note that im not even getting farther then 1 meter from the airport exprress unit, and also this is not happening at my universitys wifi network so its not my powerbook
thanks

Are you the only person using the AirPort Express?

do you have a cable modem and are you switching it from direct connection to your computer to airport express?

Are you using a chat, game, or P2P file-sharing program? If you're uploading a large amount of data, you could be killing your home download speeds.
Also, check to make sure that some neighbor isn't logging into your AP Express and gumming up the works.
