Anyone here have Tiger loaded, and multiple base stations? I have my house set up with two Airport Expresses, both wired into my network via CAT-5 ethernet. Both basestations have the same SSID, same encryption, and run on channels 1 or 11. In 10.3, I could roam anywhere in the house and have the best signal strength, as the system would change over to the one it could talk to at a higher speed.

10.4, the switchover seems to be occuring still, but when it does all my applications are interrupted. I have to either powercycle the nearby Airport express, or turn off and back on the airport on the Powerbook to reconnect.

Anyone else seeing similar? I'm thinking it might be a low level arp issue of it not broadcasting something right, but I'm not sure.

Apple has a "Workaround" to this problem in their infoboard.

Seems Tiger doesn't like holding onto the IP when roaming.

This does not seem to be fixed in 10.4.1.
