Well, I installed Mac OS X Tiger 10.4 Friday night, and ever since then, I've been having some internet woes. I can surf the web, can connect over the network, but for some reason, some sites just load EXTREMELY slow. For example,
www.massassi.net ( a site that I work on) will load within seconds, like it should on a RoadRunner connection. But if I go to
www.apple.com, it'll take about 40 seconds, pop up with a "Safari could not connect to *blah*". If I refresh the page, it will load up within about ten seconds.
www.yahoo.com will take sometimes up to 25 seconds to load.
This is only happening with my PowerBook G4 and iBook G4, and only was doing this with Tiger. My father's PC desktop and PC laptop work fine over wireless, so I can definitley narrow it down to a Tiger issue. All of my wired desktops that are windows work fine, also.
Any help, perhaps? Thanks again
