I'm using Tiger, and everytime i connect to Adium or Ichat behind our proxy server at work, it stays on for a few minutes and then just randomly disconnects. Eventually it does this enough times and makes me stay off for about half an hour because I'm over my limit on the AOL servers.
The thing is, if i connect to AIM on my work PC, the thing NEVER disconnects. It only happens in OSX!
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I've tried running Squidman to see if it would somehow stabalize the proxy server in OSX, I've made sure that all firewall functions were turned off, and a thousand other things. I'm at wits end now....any help would be greatly appreciated! Please don't make me have to use this crummy PC! :-p
