I don't know if this is a networking problem or an iTunes problem or what, but...
Up until today, whevever I opened iTunes, there was a drop down box that let me choose between playing the audio through my powerbook speakers or through the stereo with airtunes. Today that drop down box has disappeared. I know the airport express is working, because otherwise my airport connection would not have 4 bars (because it would be connecting via the base station at the other end of the apartment).
Yes, the "look for remote speakers connected with airtunes" box is checked. I am running iTunes 4.71 on 12" powerbook running OS X 10.3.8. I have not installed anything, updated anything, unplugged anything, moved anything, deleted anything etc. I have not changed a thing. Yesterday it was working and today it's not. I used to be a Windows person, so I rebooted the computer, and that didn't do anything. I'm at a loss.
Can anyone help me? Usually I ask my mac geek husband this kind of stuff, but he's out of town for the next few weeks, and I NEED my airtunes!!
