Hi All,
I've moved house, and now my kids' iMac is too far away to conveniently run an ethernet cable from my hub. I'm going to somehow find an old Airport card for the iMac, and the next step is to add wireless to my LAN.
I _have_ been using my desktop machine to bridge to the ethernet network when my Dad visits with his wifi-equipped laptop (an old Wallstreet powerbook using the card taken out from a graphite Airport basestation).
I don't want to spend a ton of money, and I certainly don't need ADSL capability (retail stores only seem to carry adsl/wireless routers). Can anyone recommend a simple one function box that will allow me to add wireless to my LAN? (heck, I don't even need NAT or DHCP, my present adsl/router takes care of that).
Thanks in advance for any help,
Chas
