I used to use my work's external Cablemodem line so I could chat with friends using Yahoo and MSN IM. They got rid of the line ( ) so now I'm back on the corporate network where it's a little more stringent. What port numbers do Yahoo and MSN work on? Fire has defaults for Yahoo to 5050 and MSN to 1863.

You can always log in using port 80. Works in most cases. Moving ...

The Yahoo! Messenger help says "ask your System Administrator to open port 5050." This page says that MSN Messenger uses port 1863.
