I pulled out the internal Airport card in my Powerbook Pismo and replaced it with this Buffalo 54Mbps PC Card http://www.buffalotech.com/products/...p;categoryid=7

The most very cool thing (other than the speed and increase distance) is the external antennas which are easily plugged into this card.
I found the AirStation external antenna on sale at Microcenter for $17. It easily adds 50% to the signal. I am sitting in a muffler repair shop (big hole in my muffler). With no antenna in I get no signal. With it in I do! w00t!

Speed+distance+cool factor=I am more cool than I ever thought!
