cryptic airport messages

Periodically, I'm unable to connect to an SMC2804WBRP-G router running in 802.11b/g mixed mode. Each time it happens, there are these cryptic messages in Console:

Jun 5 14:53:34 Manhattan kernel: AirPort: Rx'd mesg P-1
Jun 5 14:53:34 Manhattan kernel: AirPort: Rx'd mesg P-3
Jun 5 14:53:34 Manhattan kernel: AirPort: New Group Key, Idx 3
Jun 5 14:53:47 Manhattan last message repeated 3 times
Jun 5 14:53:52 Manhattan kernel: AirPort: Link DOWN
Jun 5 14:53:52 Manhattan kernel: handleAirPortChangesChannelWL fails because
POWER IS OFF (the mask is correcty set however)
Jun 5 14:54:01 Manhattan kernel: AirPort: Link DOWN

Is there any reference for this? I downloaded the updated ADC reference library, but I can't find anything.
