I keep an open airport wifi connection at my house. In general I don't mind if some of my neighbors connect, but sometimes I need extra bandwidth.

Is there a simple way to look at the current list of wifi users and kick off users if I need the bandwidth or do I have to go into admin and turn it into a closed connection?

I bet you'll mind when they use your connection to download kiddie porn or solicit minors and then the feds come knocking, or when they're running a kazaa node that gets you a big fat lawsuit from the RIAA.

But in reference to your question, I know of no way to view a list of users connected over an airport station.

Security is the way to go. Set up WPA (NOT WEP!!!) on your base and computers, and the bad guys will not be able to mooch off of you-nor get you in trouble by misusing your broadband connection.

What they said is true, secure your wireless network. That said, you can use something like the Airport monitor to see who's connected to your router.
