I was recently given an AirPort Extreme Card which has a strange adaptor/connector on it (see picture below...sorry it's out of focus). The AirPort Extreme Card itself looks like a normal card.

Can some tell me what the copper color adaptor is for? What model Mac does this card fit?

I appreciate any help.

Is it for an iMac? I don't know about AirPort Extreme and the iMac G5 (or G4), but the original AirPort needed a mounting sled type thing to be put into an iMac G3.
