Mac and PC networking problem

	My Mac and PC share a ethernet hub. I am able to retrieve files from the Mac while on the PC. However, I cannot configure the Mac to network with the PC. so that I can get files from the PC while using the Mac I have typed in the following in the Finder menu.Go>connect to server: smb//69.9.24.128 (not the real number). I get the following message: "the finder cannot complete the operation because some data in smb//69.9.24.128 could not be read or written (error code -36). How do I get this to work?
