Hi, I am trying to network my new iBook to my windows XP machine. I want to use firewire, as it is faster than wireless and standard wired 10/100 LAN. I found an article on Macworld about it, but being rather mac-illiterate, i couldn't follow it. Can anyone provide me with a simple, short set of instructions on how to set up this sort of network? I am planning on using a 6-4 pin cable to do this, as the XP machine has a 4 & 6 pin port, and the 6 pin is being used for an external DVD drive.

Any help really would be appreciated!!
