Dear All,

I have a Mac Mini (Tiger 10.4) joined to a Network. Most of the computers are running Microsoft Windows XP in this network. One computer is running Windows 2000 Server and serve for File and DHPC Server.

The Mac Mini can obtain an IP address from that Windows 2000 Server's DHCP function. One folder has been shared to Mac Mini user in the Win2K Server. However, the Mac Mini cannot access that Win2K Server. I tried to share a folder in a WinXP computer, the Mac Mini can successful access the folder in that WinXP PC.

The User Login and Password are exactly same in both Mac Mini and Win2K's Active Directory. What should I do to enable the Mac to access that Win2K Server's folder?

Does the Mini's setup include the proper domain? (Is there even a domain to join?) The network's design is critical here. Further, are you talking with the sysadmin of the network about this problem- he/she may have the answer at his/her fingertips...
