Hi, guys. How do I check my bandwidth of my Internet connection on my computer? I couldn't figure it out.

Thanks for helping.

Do you mean how much network activity there is? You can find that information in the Activity Monitor, or by using something like MenuMeters.

If you want to find out how fast the actual connection is, you can try watching one of the network activity monitors while you download a large file from a fast source.

Thanks for your idea.

What I mean is how I can find out the speed of my Internet connection (technically saying, the amount of data that can be transferred over a period), not the network activity at a specific moment.

Go to the Networking forum and you'll get plenty of information on networking issues. That's what it's there for, and I'm sending this thread there.

OK. Thanks. I thought I was an OS issue.

Networking is networking-not much about it is OS specific.

If all you're interested in is a speed check, try any of these sites, or this one. Just read the directions first and follow them carefully for the most accurate indications.

Thanks for providing those sites, though I was meant to check it on OS.
