Hi. I can see a set of names who are in the same Lan in /Network/My Network directory.

How can I configure their IPs?

I don't understand your question. The title of the thread and the question in the first post are different. To configure their IP addresses you would have to have access to their machines.

Thanks. Let me make it clear. My neighbours and I are in the same LAN. I can find names of their computers in /Network/My Network directory on my computer.

I want to configure their IPs, but don't know how. I guess it is very similar to mine. If mine is, say, XXXX.168.
Theirs might be XXXX.167 or some other numbers that are very close to mine.

If by 'configure' you mean 'change', you can't. Only the administrator (owner) of a computer can configure its IP. In fact, you are probably both connecting to a DHCP server which does the actual assignment of IPs, so the IPs you and your neighbors receive are under the control of the DHCP server.

Why do you care anyway? Is there some kind of networking conflict? If so, you should be talking to your LAN administrtor.
