On the computer i could be on an hour 10 mins or 20 and then the internet starts disconecting but it wont stop it keeps saying disconnecting.So you have to restart the computer!! Then after a while it does it again starting to get annoyed with it.when i try to reconnect it goes straight on!

Your post is most frustrating-you say you have a problem, but not what computer (or OS), what network hardware, what kind of Internet connection, or anything. Without details all anyone can do is say "bummer, dude."

Fill us in with real information and you'll probably be surprised at how much help you get.

I am on osx, i am using a ibook g4.Network provider is bt yahoo Broadband. Modem is a speedtouch 330??
If any more info is need please ask im new to this forum so dont know what use want.

Is that modem connected to your computer through USB? That could have something to do with the problem. On the other hand, are you using OS X's connection software to log into BT Yahoo? There may be a setting you need to adjust for when and why it tries to disconnect.

Yes connetion is usb.
Not sure what you mean about the os'x connection software. I am using internet connect 1.3 (v1.3) on my imac ineernet seems o be staying on all the time with no probs so far!!!!
