Hello,

I am using AriMac at home. I made my LAN invisible and accesible to only those who are already pre-registered with a valid Ethernet ID.

Is there anyway to know who is connected to the LAN ?

Thanks.

Run a packet sniffer, like Ethereal.

If you have access to the router (many have web-based interfaces that you can get to by typing the router's IP address like 192.168.0.0 or whatever), then you can probably find a "status" button in their interface that will show the connected clients. I would try to see if you can do that first (I'm not sure if AirMac has this functionality though).

AirMac = AirPort (called AirMac in Japan I believe due to a product that already existed called AirPort).

There's no such function built in to the AirPort, but not sure if there's software that'll compile a list by some other method.

Try asking in the Networking forum.
