Where can I find some step-by-step information telling me how to add/configure my IBook G4 (with built-in wireless) to my home network? Home network is a linksys 802.11g router connected to a PC, along with an IMac and a Belkin range extender. Thanks.

Turn on your iBook. The AirPort card in it should detect the network and ask if you want to join it. Once you say "yes," it will ask you for the password/passphrase for that network. Ta-DA! You're connected!

After that, see if you need things like file sharing, printer sharing, and the like.

I did turn on the IBook, and it was located close to access point, but the airport card did not detect anything. Btw, I have set up WEP encryption on the network.

In addition to getting on to the network, I would like to know how to set up printer sharing.

Thanks again.

It sounds like your AirPort card isn't on or otherwise not functioning. When you go into Network Preferences, do you see an AirPort card in the dropdown list of adapters?

That's odd. If you see it, it should be at least trying to connect to your wireless network. You could try disabling the WEP on the network to see if the computer sees it then...WEP is odd that way sometimes.
