So I'm trying to speed up my network and decided to upgrade to a gigabit router. I bought the DGL-4100 but things don't seem any faster. I'm connecting a 2.7dual G5 to a RAID1 in a 733 QS. All my cables are cat5e. But file transfers seem about the same. Are there any manual adjustments I need to make? Would jumbo frames help? I'm usually moving around gigabytes of image files at a time. Can't seem to find any mac-specific info about fine-tuning the 4100 anywhere. Thanks for any suggestions.

Matt

(I'm running 10.4 & 10.3.9)

Well, for file transfers, the network was probably never the bottleneck. Chances are you weren't saturating a 100Mbps link, so increasing its speed makes no difference.
