I did an airport software update the other day without checking closely and now when I turn on my ibook G4 this window pops up.

"None of your trusted wireless networks could be found. Would you
like to join the open wireless network named NETGEAR?-Yes, No"

I click "yes" then choose Netgear and I'm back in business, but I didn't have to do this extra
step before the software update.

I have Airport Extreme in my computer and I now realize I updated the
software that was "Airport Software 4.2" which was probably incompatible.

Can I uninstall this? If so what steps do I take without screwing up Airport Extreme.

I never had this problem until I did the software update so I'm guessing this is the reason and I would like this window to go away.

thanks,

Hamamac

Absolutely nothing. PUT POSTS IN THE PROPER FORUM. What's wrong with that?
