Have you tried the troubleshooting suggestions listed in the manual, e.g. quick reset or full reset?

Have you tried connecting the mac via cable and then trying again?

thank you for chiming in.

yes i've reset the palm several times. no go.

"connecting mac via cable", could you please be more specific?

i've already updated the airport software via software update and i'm still having this problem with the palm. however, i can access wifi via airport just fine on my powerbook.

You could try posting in the networking forum rather than here, since it is a networking problem. That said, you have got to read the Mac Help on reseting your base station before you ask a question like
"connecting mac via cable", could you please be more specific?
It shows that you haven't read it yet. And it will solve your problem. I'd post the answer here, but why would you be more likely to read it than the Help?

Not reset the Palm. Reset the BASE STATION.

You're having trouble reading the configuration of the base station. Why would resetting the Palm help?

RTFM, please.

Obviously this is more AirPort and wireless than peripherals...

Not a problem. Newbies make mistakes.

Have you found a solution yet?
