So here's my situation. I'm on the cusp of buying a ibook G3 to use for writeing and some other purposes. I've got a PC and a wireless network set up in my home I use to connect my Xbox and my TIVO to. Would it be possible to add my ibook to this existing network, even though it's used by my PC?

Welcome to the MacNN Forums!

Networking is completely agnostic-you could add a Cray and an Atari to your home network if you could find network cards for them! Your G3 iBook will need an original AirPort card if you want it to be wireless, but that's fine-wireless networking is just as platform independent as the rest of it.
