I finally made internet work on my powermac g5, thanks to this little thing:

http://www.mobileplanet.com/product.asp?code=119958

It works just fine while just browsing the internet but when it comes to downloading files like over 10 mb the internet and computer crasches and this screen appears:

http://img20.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dataskrm1ni.jpg

Really, really annoying! This is while I'm trying to download some upgrades for different mac programs. It's downloading for some minutes but then suddenly the screen turns into black and that message appears.

Does anyone have any experiences with this thing and happen to know what problem might be?

Before i bought a mac i heard stories about macs not crasching one time in several years and stuff like that. Well, yesterday my computer crasched like 10 times in an hour!

It's called a Kernel Panic. You should perform an Archive and Install of the OS.

Big Mac says you should reinstall Mac OS X. You should backup your stuff just in case, but there is an option to perform an "archive and install" installation. This will preserve your data, move your current installation to a folder with a different name and install a fresh version of Mac OS X. Then you can trash your old Mac OS X installation.
On the other hand, it could be the USB device you are using that causes the kernel panics.
Into your utilities folder (inside your applications folder) you have a program called "Console". There you may find information about the kernel panic. You could post it here. While it most of the time is cryptic to me, there are some people that can extrac valuable information from there.

Y no entienden nada... ¡y cómo se divierten!...

I went to the console folder and found this:

Mac OS X Version 10.4.6 (Bygge 8I127)

Does that say anything? This must be happening because of the usb-device because it had never happened before yesterday and now it happens all the time.

There is a log file called panic.log. Please look for it and paste in the contents of it here. The regular console.log and system.log files only contain the information recorded before the crash; panic.log actually logs what caused the crash.

I was wondering who was causing the Internet to keep crashing.
