Is there a relatively easy way to find out the ownership of a network address ??? For example, I use a third party app entitled "MacStumbler" every so often and when I do, I sometimes get this network named "cornerstone" that appears in the list of available networks. I then go up to my airport menubar icon and notice that that also lists this "cornerstone." What I would like to find out is who owns or operates this net and where it is coming from. Paranoid security person that I am, I feel uneasy abou this particular network address appearing and would simply like to know who and where it is. Is there a way to accomplish this goal ??? Any third party apps that may help ??? Any and all guidance is greatly appreciated Macsters. Thanks. Peace out . . .
